Kids (or just Hunter) say the Darnest things

Okay, so I'm sitting at the table feeding Jade some lunch while Hunter is beside me eating the lunch I made for him, when out of the blue he says, "Mom, I don't want to live with you anymore." Okay, I'm serious, this was OUT OF THE BLUE!!!! We had been having a fine day and we actually weren't even talking at the time when he said this. Wondering what in the WORLD had brought this on, I asked him why not. He informed me he liked our house but he doesn't like the bees, so he wants to live somewhere else. We have Lavender in the front corner of our yard which always has a lot of bees on it. I'm glad it's the bees he doesn't like, not me.

Then Today....
We were having a rough morning. We had gone shoe shopping last night which got us home late so we didn't bathe the kids thinking we can do it in the morning. All was going well, until I asked Hunter to take his turn. This caused a major melt-down which I had to deal with as Andy was at Ward Council. I sent him to his room to calm down (and hoping he might fall asleep as he was quite tired). After a while of silence, I went in to check on him. He was reading a book. He looked up at me and said something to the effect of I can't wait until I'm grown up and you are grandma & Grandpa. Thinking, yea, I can't wait to be Grandma and do the spoiling not the disciplining, I asked him why he wanted that. He paused and I asked him if it was so he could tell his kids what to do and he said Yes. Looks like he's got this parenting thing figured out.
