So I had all these plans this week between getting the house ready for Christiana's baptism on Saturday to finish blogging Christmas, New Year's, and all the birthdays. But with Christiana's baptism being postponed....everything else is too and I have decided to take on a new project.
For the past week we have been having Jonathan sit on the potty before we get him into P.J.'s. This is not a new thing, as he has been sitting on the potty before he takes a bath. However, he HATES his baths (seems to be a theme with my kids) and so has associated sitting on the potty with taking a bath. So this past week, we ex-nayed the bath (except for Saturday night) and just had him sit on the potty. We seem to have broken the association for the most part, although every once in a while he still says "no bath, just potty".
So I had this brilliant (or maybe just insane) notion that with not having to get the house put back together from Andy's last project (wiring the house) until later, I would potty train Jonathan.
And so the battle of wills has begun!!

Good luck! Potty training terrifies me.
Potty training scares me too. I still shutter every time I have to go to the bathroom. Toilets are scary business. Scare the crap out of me, they do.
Ooo. Good luck. I hate potty training! Also, I hope everything goes beautifully for Christiana's baptism. I can't believe that sweet girl is 8 years old!!!
