The Potty-Training Begins

I was not planning on potty training today, but Jonathan hinted that he might be ready. I got him dressed this morning and set him down to go play. When all of a sudden he says "potty", not the first time he's done this, but I figured why not. So onto the potty he sat. He sat for a second then he says "done!". I always check if he went, but for how short of a time he was sitting I just about didn't, and sure enough he'd peed. So, the decision was made. I have pulled out the underwear and as soon as we get back from taking Christiana to her summer classes they will get put on, because I will be home the rest of the day.

So wish me luck, I'm off to the dreaded in-between time of potty-training ( in other words, the time between not caring because they are in diapers and before they figure it all out). I hope to make it out on the other side within a day or two.
