So sleeping a whole night has become a luxury I don't get much recently. Between teething (that was the roughest any of my kids have ever had!!), bad dreams, and now colds. More than 3 hours in one go is a dream. Having said that, this morning Christiana didn't have school, so I knew I wouldn't have to get up and get going. It was about Midnight when Jonathan quit getting up. I was feeling pretty good as that would give me between 5 and 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep. (To some of you that may be a regular night sleep, but those who have lived with me know that just isn't going to cut it ... I NEED my 8+ hours of sleep.) Sure enough, Jonathan started fussing at quarter to 6. I was able to keep him calm until about 6:20 when he woke up Hunter. I told them to stay in their room and they could read books and play with the toys that were in there. I remember Andy giving my a kiss goodbye....and then nothing. I woke up at quarter to 9!!! It was WONDERFUL!! The kids had been so good, they hadn't fought and either Jade slept in also, or she went back to sleep without fussing! I woke up and found this:
Everyone was happy and content doing what they wanted. Including Jonathan, who had gotten away with not putting his pacifier on his bed when he woke up. Although he happily put it on his bed when after I took that picture.
