Owls say what?!?

So tonight we were getting kids into bed, I had already gotten Jade in bed the older two were still brushing teeth and such and Andy was helping Jonathan get into his pjs. Jonathan wanted to wear his blue dinosaur ones so as Andy was helping Jonathan get his feet in Andy asked what does a dinosaur say. Jonathan answered "roar", Andy answered back "roar?" and Jonathan replied, "Yup, Roar." Then came the funny part. Andy said, " Are you sure he doesn't say Cock-a-doodle-do?" Then Jonathan put up his hand and said, "Nope, that's what an owl says." What kind of owl has he discovered?
