Well it is Christmas/birthday time of year. The decorating and b-day parties time has come. I put up our decorations that have made our previous homes to festive.....and how sad they looked in our bigger house. We have this planter box that has been covered that I didn't have anything to put on it. So I had some extra bows and beads that I threw on it trying to make it looks festive. It just looked sad. I realized it was perfect for those little villages. So I made a mental note to see if any houses were still available after Christmas when they would be on sale.
I was talking to my MIL about how much bigger our tree (that we bought last year at 75% off) is than the ones we've had in the past and how I needed to pick up some more ornaments. And how sad my little planter box looked and how I wanted to put some houses on it. Nancy said she had some extras Christmas balls and houses that she wasn't using anymore. I was thinking one or two houses, but no. She had enough for me to set up a whole little village with a could items to spare. I'm so excited about it. It looks WONDERFUL!!! And she had enough balls to decorate the tree and my wreath. So thank you Nancy!!!! You have made our home more festive!

As this time of year tends to get really busy for us with birthdays (first party of three tomorrow) and Christmas, I just wanted to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
