Random rantings

Okay, so I don't really have a title. I wasn't even going to blog today, but as I sit here at the computer I am watching some GORGEOUS snow fall. Not like the other day where it was a little flurry but enough to get almost two inches, I'm talking big BEAUTIFUL snowflakes!!! I can almost forget I'm in Oregon that doesn't get snow!!
Today was Christiana's first day at school this week. It was cancelled yesterday because the weather was SUPPOSE to be awful. However it was the only day above freezing in the past week or the next week (until Christmas eve, so much for a white Christmas *sigh*). I'm wondering if they are going to be having an early release because of the snow today.
In case you are wondering, we are still sick. I spent all of yesterday disinfecting the kids bedrooms and their bathroom. I'm talking about the furnature, walls, bleaching the floor, the toys, and washing all washables in the sanitary cycle (that took all day when the wash takes two hours a load.) Andy was sick yesterday and is still not feeling well today so stayed home today again. So all this nice disinfected rooms lasted until 7 this morning, when Jonathan threw up.

I GIVE UP!!!!
Does anyone have any advice?? AT this rate we arent' going to have cookies to leave for Santa...so maybe he won't leave any presents!!!! AHHHH, we can't have that!!!

Um, in my humble opinion...Santa likes store bought Oreos just as much as homemade cookies. He really likes the fudge covered double stuffed Oreos! As for this nasty illness that has inflicted your family so long...Can you just burn the house down and start over??? :)

I know we told you about this before but I will suggest it again. I know it wasn't just a coincidence because all of Kevin's family that got sick and tried this actually got better the next day! They got vitamin shots. They're thick, they burn, and they go in your hip. Sounds pleasant, huh? Well if you want to try it I can get you the number to the chiropractor/naturopath that gives them. Other than that.... Good luck!! It WILL pass!!

So have you had your turn at being sick yet? If not I think that you should at least fake it and say that they all have to pamper you for at least an afternoon.

Completely jealous of the snow. Trouble with me is, I'd like snow for a few days and then I'd want to put on flip flops again. Can't have both I guess...

Hang in there with all the sick-os. That's so hard. My advice? Movie, blankets, soup, let everything else go to pot. Pick up the pieces later. Good luck!
