Yesterday, Andy made the comment that if I thought there was a lot of jam missing out of the jar, it was because he had left it out and Jonathan had gotten into it. I laughed and said, "That explains the jam all over the knife and counter." We had a good laugh about that and moved on.
Well for lunch today we had PB&J (like we have EVERY DAY) and I put the PB and Jelly away when we were done eating. Then a few minutes ago (so this is after nap and playing for a little while) Jonathan comes down and his hands are STICKY!!! I made him go wash his hands then went up stairs to see what the damage was. I couldn't find any mess. I was very confused. Then I went to empty the dishwasher. I opened up the silverware drawer and there was a VERY sticky knife with all the clean knives. Then I realized what had happened. I went to the fridge and found this....
Yes, that would be an EMPTY jar of jam!! It was maybe a fourth gone when we finished lunch. Apparently, he had decided to get a snack and then he cleaned up from it! So after almost a year with the jam in the same spot, we have to move it to a shelf in the fridge Jonathan can't reach.

That's great!
I am amazed that you did not find jam everywhere. How did he do that?
I don't understand how he didn't make a mess and how he ate so much with just a knife!!
Better check his teeth for cavities!! That's too funny!
At least he used the proper utensil! Hahaha Sounds like he was HUNGRY! (How was the funeral?)
