Celebrating 10 years

Saturday night Andy and I went out on a date to celebrate our anniversary. We had LOTS of fun. Nothing like an 8 hour date to remind ourselves why we got married in the first place.

First we went to OMSI. We were hoping to see the Divinci exhibit, but it left on May 3rd. When we went back east three years ago, one of the museums we went to had that exhibit, but the little kids weren't all that interested in it, so we didn't get to spend as much time there as us big kids wanted. So when I saw the same exhibit was at OMSI I wanted to go. This is what happens when you put something off, you miss it. Oh well, we still had a nice time. Then we walked around the waterfront. We hadn't been there yet, so it was fun to just walk around in the beautiful sunny weather. We didn't even have to pay for parking. When I opened my door to get out of the car, there was a paid meter sticker on the ground. It was good for another hour, so I just stuck it on our window and away we went. Saved us a whoppin' $1.25. When our "free" hour was up we headed back to Gresham to eat at the TruffleHunter. All I have to say is WOW!!! The food was SOOOOO good, and SOOOO BIG!!! Mom and Dad, we are going there when you come out (without the kids). After eating half of our food, we headed to the movies. I was wanting to see the new Star Trek movie, but as it had come out two days earlier, I wasn't sure we'd be able to get tickets. However, when we got to the theater, there were still tickets to the 7:00 show. It was the most amazing movie!! They did such a good job with it. The well-known lines that the characters said were there, and now you get the reasoning behind some of the names and stuff from the original. And the original Spock was in it, so that always makes it a good movie. It is well worth the money to go see in the real theater (as opposed to waiting until it hits the "dollar" theaters, or DVD).

We had a GREAT date and the kids had a fun time playing with Julie. It was a win win situation.

You guys are too cute! I saw this picture and then looked at the wedding pics you posted earlier and you haven't changed a bit! Seriously, you haven't aged at all! I hope to be the same way on our 10 year :) I'm glad you had sooooo much fun for your anniversary! Sometimes it's nice to be a "big kid" for a day, right?!
