Happy Mother's Day Mom and Nancy! I hope you are both having a wonderful one. Mine is starting out GREAT!! Andy (and the kids) let me sleep in until 9. At 9:30 I went down to see what was going on. Andy sent me back upstairs and went to go find the older two. Jade went up the stairs before me (something she learned this past week as well as going down them). Then she stood up and walked to her high chair. I was so surprized. Remember when I wrote a few weeks ago that she was starting to walk, well, she quit. For the past week, I have been forcing her to walk while holding on to my finger around the house. It didn't go over to well at first, but by the end of the week, she has been okay with it and even asking for my finger. But she had yet to walk on her own without someone tempting her to them. But there she went this morning, stood up by herself and walked with no one telling her or encouraging her. It is very exciting!! She started sleeping through the night on my birthday when she was just over 2 months old and it looks like she has truly started walking on Mother's day. Looks like she just wants things to be memorable for me. :) After freaking out about Jade, I headed to bed where everyone brought me breakfast in bed. On the tray was a card from Christiana and Hunter. Christiana's was a coupon for doing the dishes and Hunter's was a snowflake that said "I love you and I love playing with you". Very cute.
