Okay, so I didn't get around to writing this weekend. Which is too bad cause I know some cute things happened but I don't remember what they all were...which kind of defeats the purpose of the blog. But here's what I do remember.
We met with the sellers of the house we are buying. So nice that I actually listened to this prompting from Heavenly Father. Looks like I can be taught...after that cell phone mess I've been really trying to do better. (Not that I wasn't before but you get the idea). The sellers are really nice and told us all about the neighborhood and our new neighbors as well as suggestions they had about things they had wanted to do with the house but never got around to it due to time or money. I think all of them were things that we had already thought of (replacing carpet, finishing part of basement, cutting down overgrown trees, etc) but it was a nice gesture. What a mess this could have turned out to be because their realtor didn't want to admit he'd made a mistake.
The weather on Saturday was BEAUTIFUL!!!! The kids (and Mom) loved the sun and warm temps. It was in the low 80's!! I didn't want to be inside decorating Jonathan's cake so as a result I was up until midnight finishing it up. The kids rode their bikes and worked on their rollerblades. I can't wait for summer to be here....and to have a yard to let the kids play in!
So that was about it for Saturday. I started writing what happened on Sunday but it became to long so I decided to write about it in another post.
