Okay, so before I start this post, I need to appologize to my cute neice JULIE. She pointed out that my fingers got typing faster than I was paying attention and I misspelled her name yesterday. So I have now fixed the error and thanks for the note.
So to say we have been stressed about this house stuff would be an UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!!!!!!! We have fasted and prayed that all would work out and we recieved comfort that all will go well, but things weren't going that way. I was trying to hold on to that comfort and faith that Heavenly Father knew our stress and was keeping an eye on us. It looked that if all went well we'd be able to sign on Friday, but that gave no time to clean the house or finish packing to move in the next day, and that was if all went well. Well, about 3:30 yesterday that (meaning my patience/sanity) ran out. I just wanted to give up, I couldn't take the stress anymore I just grabbed Jade (the older kids would have to fend for themselves until Andy got home a little after 4) and hid in my room I couldn't deal with anything. Then in about a 4 hour period everything seems to have worked out.
I am feeling completely overwhelmed by the number of blessings we recieved in such a short amount of time. We are still working out details, but not only do I see light at the end of the tunnel, it is now a very short tunnel. So here is what happened.
Well, at 4 o'clock Andy didn't come home...and he didn't come home, and he wasn't answering my calls to see what was going on. I was not doing well when he called. He was late because he'd been asked to interview for that summer job I have talked about earlier. He was also given the job. So he had not only a summer job, but one that paid enough he wouldn't have to get a second job, one that fit perfectly into when his school year ends and when he needs to be available to start for next year. He was also asked to teach a special class next year which basically teaches kids good study habits and such (yes I know they're asking Andy?? But as the old saying goes: "Those who can't do, teach." or something like that). Part of this class requires going to Dallas TX for a week of training and an extra $3000 during the next school year to pay for the extra after school time needed for meetings and such. (Sorry Mom, I didn't have all the details there is some extra time but only about 2 times a month.) So, there is the first two blessings!
So then Andy called Wendi or mortgage broker to get an update. We found out exactly when we close today, but he found out that we might not close until Monday and since the owners are still living in the house until we close, we would not be able to move in on Saturday. Well that was not good. So I went next door to talk to our manager. The people who orginally were going to move into our apartment decided to wait, so it was no problem for us to stay another week. Blessing #3. In the 5 min. I was out talking to the manager, Sam (Andy's mechanic brother) called. He had on a whim entered our van problem into the computer at his work and our problem came up. So this is a common problem (the serpentine belt coming off) with a cheap easy solution. It is a matter of replacing an "O" ring so water doesn't pour onto the belt when it rains (a problem we never had in Utah as it never rained hard enough to overwhelm the O ring). Blessing #4
I feel so much better now. We are still working out some details (next Saturday is the youth temple trip so the people who would be helping us will be at the temple, at least in the early part of the day) and making sure we can change our U-haul reservation. But I can breath again!!!!! It is frustrating that we have to wait another week to move into our house that we've been waitin on since January, but we will have time to clean it and paint it and get it all ready for us to move in that we wouldn't have time to do if we moved in Saturday. I know many of you have been praying for us and put our name in at the temple. We are extremely grateful for all your thoughts and prayers, and thank the Lord for His blessings!!

YAY!!! Glad things are going better!! Have a fun time moving...heh heh heh..
Wahoo!! Amazing how things seem to work out. As my dad likes to say, "The Lord works in mysterious ways." But at least He works!
Good luck with all the painting and cleaning!
